An increasingly common sight on the UK roads is a lorry carrying its’ own lift truck ‘piggy back’ style. Officially called ‘Rider Transportable Fork Lifts’, these are more commonly known by their manufacturers names such as Moffett Mountie, Kooi-Aap or Manitou (amongst others).
Learning to operate a rider transportable fork lift involves not only how to operate efficiently and safely but also how to mount and dismount the truck from its host vehicle.
